A Japanese round basket of cylindrical form. The basket with wrapped and slightly flared rim above a double walled body. The outer wall of the basket with a repeated figure eight knot design. The base with a intricate herringbone weave, and the foot with a larger herringbone pattern with a single bamboo strut. With some staining to the interior and wear to the rim of the foot.
